Times like these make me want to drive out to nowhere and listen to the wind. A place where silence is a deafening scream yet soothes the spirit. A place where I can look above and drown in the depths of the stars. And I would contemplate the vast glory of my God as time is frozen by the slumbering landscape. Then remain long enough to catch the sunrise over the crisp morning fog.
It’s a time where I wish to slow the earth and take in its beauty.
Pause.
And praise Him.
